Qur’an is the blood of life for Muslims. Muslims are called to “respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life.” In interpreting this verse, the scholars say it is the Qur’an that gives life to the heart as the soul gives life to the body.

The WCIC is starting a Qur’an program to strengthen the community relation to the Qur’an.

In the Company of the Qur’an:

A recitation circle to read the Qur’an, focusing on proper articulation of sounds and rules of recitations with short commentary on what is recited.
Time: Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, 8:00 pm – until `Isha Prayer

Journey through the Qur’an:

Envisioning ways to understand and to connect with the Qur’an. The discussion will focus on some Qur’anic verses and how to relate them to our lives.
Time: Saturday Family Night: 6:30 pm – 9:00 (Potluck from 6:30-7:30)
