Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Assalamu Alaikum,
It is with great pride and gratification that we announce to all our friends and supporters that the church property, located at 2449 Buena Vista, Walnut Creek, has now become the permanent home of Darulislam Masjid.
We will occupy the new facilities at the end of a five month lease-back arrangement which we accepted as part of a favorable sales agreement that includes a large zero-interest loan from the sellers.
In the meantime, we will concentrate our efforts during this period on the following key tasks:
• Retire the acquired short term, no-interest loans (quarz hassan) within the next two months,
• Develop an overall master plan to service loan payments with emphasis on the first twelve (12) months,
• Develop and carry out necessary facilities upgrading/remodeling activities, and
• Move Darulislam to its new and permanent home.
We should all celebrate the realization of our long awaited dream and enjoy the fruits of our hard work for the last six months and offer our thanks to Allah (SWT) for his guidance, blessings, and generosity.
